An eco-friendly British skincare range from a high street favourite

Who would have thought that a Marks and Spencer own brand skincare range would become a staple in my bathroom cabinet? Certainly not me, but I can definitely say they are a firm favourite, you may even tag them as a ‘hero’ product!

I was first introduced to the Marks and Spencer  British made Eco friendly skincare range  ‘Pure’ when I received a pot of the Rose Cleansing Balm after a my mum had read a positive review in a newspaper.

Oh my. How I love this range! It is massively under the radar – many of my friends hadn’t even heard of it, let alone tried it.

What’s in the products?

The range boasts 95% natural British ingredients starting from £5 with some products being award winners. The range also has a grape and marine focused line within the range. The packaging has been upgraded from plastic pots to glass jars which makes them feel like quite an expensive product.

VERY importantly, no tests are done on animals and everything is produced in an ECO factory using sustainable and responsibly sourced ingredients. I absolutely love the scent of these products. They smell really fresh and clean with citronella, lavender and rose. My favourite is the Super Hydrate Day Cream with Spf 15. Such excellent value at £12 for 50 ml, I must have gone through at least 7 pots.

The range covers moisturiser’s, face wash, serums and cleansers. They also do some handy wipes which are great for travel. Face wipes aren’t something I usually use but these are great especially when I travel.

This skincare range is a little lesson that you don’t always need to pay a fortune to get high quality, British products.

I’ve recently started to be much more conscious on where I buy my products and where they are made. Check out my reasons why by reading my previous post here.
